Background
Hell Let Loose was a Haptic Audio Job I carried out at Huey Games for their client Team17, as they were very pleased with how well I did on BAFTA Award Winning and Nominated game Inscryption. I was very excited by this opportunity to work on a first person shooter game, as this is my favourite genre of game to play.

Job Description and Responsibilities
My main responsibilities were to create Haptic Audio files for certain guns in the game, which could also be used on vehicles. I communicated with Team17 and Black Matters Sound Designer and gained feedback from the team at Huey Games and Team17. I had to create these files for shooting and reloading of guns, where each file for each part of the animation of the gun needed a Haptic Audio file, so needed separating for use in the game for the programmers. I had to be mindful of repeat fire machine guns, due to the fact that repetitive firing could cause straining and numbness in the hands over a certain period of time, so I made sure the haptics for firing did not cause this issue.
